Hydrogen sulfide is a naturally occurring chemical that threatens the safety of people and the quality of pipelines. Advanced Instruments Inc. has created a full line of cost-effective solutions for accurate H₂S measurement.
Pomona, CA, June 29, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Advanced Instruments Inc. now offers a full line of H₂S analyzers for measuring trace levels of H₂S in flowing gas streams and ambient air. Through the implementation of advanced galvanic electrochemical sensor technology, Advanced Instruments Inc.’s H₂S analyzers provide accurate measurements at low cost and with little to no maintenance required. The H₂S sensors are specific to H₂S and generate an electrical signal proportional to the amount of H₂S present in the gas stream.
To protect pipelines from embrittlement and personnel from the lethal effects of H₂S in the natural gas industry, accurate measurements of H₂S are imperative. As a result of this, the H₂S analyzer series features state-of-the-art electronics to achieve the most reliable and accurate measurements of H₂S.
The GPR-7500 AIS is an analyzer with two user-configurable alarms and the GPR-7500 IS is a two wire loop powered transmitter. Both units have a sample conditioning system consisting of a coalescing filter, flow meters, sample/ span valve and air pump and are ATEX certified intrinsically safe for use in hazardous areas. With 4-20 mA or 1-5 V analog outputs, the units provide real time continuous measurements. This eliminates the errors associated with individual observation and interpretation.
The GPR-7100 is a portable H₂S analyzer. Like the GPR-7500 AIS and IS, the GPR-7100 has a coalescing filter, flow meter and air pump and is ATEX certified intrinsically safe for use in hazardous areas. The unit has a NEMA 4X enclosure designed to withstand the rigors of work in the field.
Optional equipment is available to customize the GPR-7500 AIS/ IS and GPR-7100 to your specific application, including a high PPM H₂S sensor capable of measuring up to 2000 PPM.
